Somaliland Discovers Large Crude OIL deposits. War could break out over it.
In 2020, Norwegian seismic survey company, TGS, estimated that the Somali basin as a whole likely holds offshore reserves of about 30 billion barrels, with additional onshore reserves, although land estimates are considerably less consistent. Assessments generally include Somaliland and would place Somalia reserves at about the same level as Kazakhstan, which would give the area the 18th or 19th largest reserve globally, as assessed in 2016.

Libya’s slave trade: ‘They sell Africans over there’
The world's most vulnerable, fleeing war and poverty back home, are being abused and auctioned off as slaves - a shocking danger facing migrants and refugees in Libya.
It has been reported that hundreds of people are being auctioned in modern day slave markets in Libya for as little as $400.
Libya is the main transit hub for refugees and migrants attempting to reach southern Europe by sea. They are coming from countries like Nigeria, Eritrea, Guinea, Ivory Coast,, Gambia, Senegal, Sudan and Somalia.
The power vacuum in Libya after the fall of Muammar Gaddafi has made human trafficking and people smuggling a booming trade.
And the European Union's renewed strategy to stop migrants and refugees travelling across the Mediterranean has led to more people being stuck in the north African...

PETRONAS CABAR WARAN TANGKAP SUDAN
#shorts

Sudan's military council has expressed misgivings about an Ethiopian plan for transition to civilian rule.
The opposition backs the proposal, but the military says it does not correspond with another blueprint put forward by the African Union.
Ultimately negotiations before the army cracked down collapsed because both sides couldn't agree on who would head the governing body.

And the European Union's renewed strategy to stop migrants and refugees travelling across the Mediterranean has led to more people being stuck in the north African country without money or food.
